Requirements to Access Argonne Site
Occasionally we organize TC session on-site at Argonne National Laboratory. Argonne National Laboratory is a controlled-access facility. When you visit Argonne, you must obtain permission in advance, and you need a visitor’s pass to enter and display while present at the Argonne site. Any vehicle and/or person is subject to search. Prohibited items rules are enforced. Need to show a photo ID issued by a governmental authority - Drivers license, passport, Govt ID, - then you can get a gate pass. Special access requirements apply for non-U.S. citizens. Access to Argonne site for Foreign (non-US) AttendeesInformation for non-US Attendees: Special considerations for attendees who are not U.S. citizens, especially about extra time needed to process requests for site access. New security requirements for visitors to take effectThere soon will be an additional informational requirement for visitor access. This change will require vehicle registration prior to receiving a visitor gate pass. In addition to the current information gathered, visitors will be required to provide the Visitor Center clerks with vehicle make, model, color and license plate number, which will be entered into the Gate Pass system.
